Datasheet NanoPower DSP 25 March 2019 DS 1018088 1.1 4 2 Overview The GomSpace NanoPower Deployable Solar Panel (DSP) is designed to fit on the side of a 3U or 6U satellites. It is composed of three panels connected with spring loaded hinges. During launch the panels are folded to the side of the satellite.

Space Solar Cells offer high efficiencies, starting from the 28% class and ending in the high-end cell class of 32% -Advanced. All solar cells include the latest triple /and quadruple junction technology, where GaInP/GaAs/Ge layers are grown on a Germanium substrate and the whole product range benefits from many years’ experience on the space market.

Our state of the art triple junction cells can convert the solar radiation into electricity with the efficiency above 30% in space applications and are manufactured using III-V compounds (GaAs and InGaP) as base material. The GomSpace NanoPower MSP is a modular solar panel system for a 6U satellite. The customer can choose between different solar panel setups, and can cover the entire surface of the satellite for optimal power output. 9.2 NanoCom ANT-6F and NanoUtil AR6 The GomSpace NanoCom ANT-6F is a VHF or UHF antenna at the top or bottom of the 6U structure.
